Xpressdocs Partners, a leading provider of direct mail and customized marketing solutions, has strengthened its production infrastructure with the installation of an advanced high-speed inkjet web press and a custom-engineered EMT Cylinder Die Cutter built specifically for Xpressdocs’ proprietary workflows.
To keep pace with the new press’s lightning-fast output, the team installed a custom-engineered EMT Cylinder Die Cutter, built specifically for Xpressdocs’ production environment and capable of running at speeds up to 500 feet per minute.
Unlike traditional flatbed systems, the EMT rotary cylinder design delivers smoother, faster, and more consistent cutting. Its engineering ensures exceptionally tight registration, critical for accuracy at high volumes. The custom build for Xpressdocs includes specialized tooling and a tailored paper extraction system that enables seamless handling of complex shapes, perforations, and kiss-cuts without sacrificing speed.
The die cutter’s versatility allows it to process coated and uncoated stocks, heavier card materials, and specialty substrates with minimal setup. Automated waste removal, streamlined changeovers, and direct integration with the HP Advantage press line further increase uptime and throughput.
