Company History

Starting from Scratch: Ideas & Paper Inc. started as many great companies are – in a garage.

Striving Forward: We began developing our web-based ordering platform (with lots of 90’s style).

Launching into the New Millennium: We launched our first web-to-print platform with dynamic design templates.

Moving on Up: We changed our name to Xpressdocs, moved to our first commercial space, and launched a new version of our web-to-print platform with instant online proofing.

Meeting a Money Milestone: We achieved our first year of profitable operations!

Growing and Expanding: We moved into a new 22,000-square-foot facility.

Creating an Online Presence: We introduced the Xpressdocs.com retail site to the world.

Making a Name for Ourselves: We were finalists for the Inman Innovator Award for Most Innovative Technology.

Executing a New Plan: We expanded our products and brand management capabilities to begin serving clients in new industries.

Digitizing Our Products: We added our first digital product option.

Migrating to the Cloud: We migrated our technology infrastructure to the Cloud (before you probably knew there was one.)

Acquiring New Capabilities: We acquired Global Group, Inc., launched our automated marketing program, and moved to a 125,000 sq ft facility.

Innovating Our Way Forward: We were recognized for our innovation with a USPS Mail Solutions Award.

Basking in Star Power: Xpressdocs was featured on Worldwide Business with Kathy Ireland.

Continuing to Build: We acquired a division of Merrill Corp, expanding our products and industries served.

Mastering the Moment: We achieved our G7 Master Printer Certification.

Keeping Things Amazing: We acquired Amazingmail®, expanded yet again to a new 245,000-square-foot facility, and processed our one millionth order!

Making the Grade: We achieved our ISO9001 Certification, fired up our new Heidelberg high-speed production lines, and expanded our fleet of presses.

Staying at the forefront: we released the latest version of our brand management platform, "Xpresso". The mobile-first, user centered design includes on-template editing, automated prospect marketing, social sharing tools and hundreds of post-worthy customizable content options.

Raising the bar: XD+ subscriptions are now available, providing great value to our most loyal customers. The next generation of our production workflows and digital print technology will unleash exciting new options and unmatched quality...stay tuned.
